Seiya Nakai “Keep Going Sanriku Railway!”

Following the trail of the Sanriku railway on its path to revival after the devastating damage of the Great East Japan Earthquake, to its full opening again in April 2014. Seiya Nakai documents this process from one month after the disaster, through its restoration for over three years.
These photographs do not contain the shocking havoc of the disaster, but present a positive forward-thinking attitude.
