Visiting the leprosy hospital Suruga Sanatorium for the purpose of a photography project Minami Ryuji came to meet a particular senior who decorated his clothes and everyday items in an attempt to recapture a sense of freedom in his struggle against leprosy. This exhibition showcases a collection of photographs documenting his colorful expressions, along with words from the man himself.
