Presenting the first exhibition in Kyoto for the up-and-coming Tokyo-based artist Kento Nito, whose work was selected for the 14th Taro Okamoto Contemporary Art Award Exhibition in 2011. Nito also received the Jury Prize at the 2011 Tokyo Wonder Wall Open Call Exhibition, and has participated in Tokyo and overseas artist-in-residency programs. Using his own unique methods, Nito creates works representing tactile experiences such as touching and embracing. His energetic artistic activities also extend to performances, film, installations, and collaborations with other artists. These new works take the human fate of being rained on as their subject.
