Takashi Sasebe has spent the past decade photographing Nara’s Hasedera shrine, which is famous for its rich array of flowering trees and plants. He finds the appearances of the flowers differ according to the weather, offering fresh discoveries each visit. The harmonious balance of the temple’s buildings and its greenery is a trademark of his work.
