Ichiro Kikuchi has continued to travel across Japan for nearly 20 years capturing the scenes which catch his eye through an ongoing series of photographs. Here he takes a review of this collection through a selection of 40 color prints which emphasize the play of line, form and color in the encounter with the uncanny in the everyday.
