Since 2001 Mayumi Terada has established a base in New York, from where she creates a virtual world using her miniature works where truth and falsehood are consistently blended and are presented as black and white photographs.
Though her exhibitions have appeared in museums and galleries throughout the world, this is Mayumi Terada’s first solo exhibition at Gallery Out of Place since her exhibition “Living Absence” in September 2010.
