With works such as “Innocent Play (2013)”, which at first glance appear as colorful pop-like toys but on closer inspection reveal their content of gunpowder, and “Untitled(2012)”, not merely burnt toast but a blackened object which has become completely charred, Taiga Hiramatsu takes up the real articles before us and through a twist of our senses reveals the presence of art.
