The photographs in this exhibition were all taken with the digital camera “VQ1015 Entry,” which currently has a matchbook-sized LCD screen with only 1.3 million pixels and irregular shutter timing. Photographing with it requires broad compositional direction, and colors and light often become extremely saturated, resulting in unexpected images. While these photographs would conventionally be considered failures, they have a mysterious emotional grip.
