Kuniko Sasaki’s installation works attempt to bring man closer to nature. Since ancient times, nature has been a source of awe and admiration to the Japanese people. Sasaki suggests that the various problems in modern society stem from the loss of connection between human beings and nature, and hopes through her work to take people back to their original state within nature.
