Jun Fujiyasu’s “DZ”, a photo series featuring her twin brothers and herself that explored themes of identity and one’s relations to others, took the grand prize at the 2008 Shiogama Photo Festival. The “Empathize” series also turns the lens on twins, but frames them individually rather than as pairs in a single photo.
