This is the second period of the International Contemporary Art Exhibition Nara 2014. Introducing the latest expressions by Nara artists with an international presence: Takashi Kikuchi (3D), Kota Kinutani (stone), Chihiro Shimotani (3D, printmaking), Kei Takemata (3D), Chuuichi Fujii (wood), Yutaka Moriguchi (moving image), and Natsunosuke Mise (painting). This is a fine opportunity to play homage to the history that is channeled through the artwork and appreciate the beauty within the Nara setting.
In order to tie the Fine arts and Music, there will be a joint effort with the “2014 as the Year for Music Festivals” with a concert in the art museum.
