Part of the “1floor” program to support young artists and curators, this exhibition focuses on the work of Seira Uchida and Maoya Kishi. The concept behind Uchida’s work is to develop the senses that keep at a distance the “frame” that is built from preconceived ideas or stereotypes. On the other hand, Kishi uses the built environment - buildings, signboards, people and society itself as a basis for his reflections.
