Gallery Shimada presents the first solo exhibition for the Singapore-based artist Junko Tsujii. Like a silkworm that spins a colorful cocoon and covers itself in chrysalis, Tsujii uses oil colors, acrylics, and pens to give shape to inner emotions, which she erases and recomposes into wondrous, multi-faceted mandalas. This is her own enigmatically beautiful metamorphosis.
