This event has ended.

“Memory Samples,” the previous exhibition by Moe Iwata and Sayuri Kida, presented works inspired by memory sampling. In this show, “Micro Macro Loop,” they focus on themes inherent in literary, philosophical, and scientific investigations, particularly those pertaining to the relativities of scale. In the world of embedded structures, a subject can expand and contract to infinite degrees toward both the inside and the outside. The sense of dizziness produced from this larger picture was both challenging and compelling to the artists. What kind of image will their individual works add up to when viewed together? Iwata and Kida have aimed to create a world as dizzying as that produced by an imbedded structure.
