Initiated in 2001 the Asia Contemporary Dance Festival celebrates its 8th volume this year, also marking its 3rd edition hosted by Kobe city. This festival has strived to promote the physical expression of artists working throughout Japan and Asia, fostering a renewed appreciation of our diverse values which co-exist alongside each other. This year Yuya Tsukahara of renowned group contact Gonzo takes on the role of program director, drawing upon his wide range of experiences as both a collaborative and solo artist to present the work of key artists from around Asia.
