Between Clothing and Body

Clothing lies at the foundation of body. In the same way, one cannot consider a body in isolation of clothing. That is because human beings are essentially social existence that is to be dressed, and because a human body is constructed in relation to different things including clothing. Through practices of 3 artists, Yurina Shiomi, Lisa Yukaya, and Ai Teramoto, we reconsider the relation between clothing and body.
