On January 20th 2015, Fukei Shashin Co., Ltd. published a new photography magazine entitled “Lifescape”. Its name is based on the words Life and Landscape, and its concept is “a magazine for nature gazers”. It not only features wild animals, birds, aquatic life, insects and plants, but also the coexistence of humans and other animals with their natural surroundings. In commemoration of the publication of its first volume, they held a photography contest named “The field of Lifescape photographers”. In this exhibition, the 25 prize-winning entries will be presented, on gelatin silver printing paper and up to 1200mm in size.
