This event has ended.

Hailing from the ancient Thai city of Chiang Mai, Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook is a filmmaker and photographer who has enjoyed international success. She lives with her 15 dogs at her home in Chiang Mai, but says that “both living souls and deceased souls live in the same space”, in reference to her departed dogs whose presence she feels closely on a daily basis. Her creations are the result of her instincts which have been honed by this way of living, and blur the lines between life and death, reality and dreams, and humans and animals. In turn, they probe the viewer to explore the meaning of leaving their current dimension for another one. This is her first solo exhibition in Japan.
