Inventor and designer, Azambourg combines beauty with the technical craftsmanship, a true adept in the applied arts. He is an artist in residence at Villa Kujoyama and his current project is oriented towards simplicity and lightness, pushing him into the realm of objects that go against common trends. The search for lightness and economy of materials and processes remains a consistent theme throughout Azambourg’s designs. Obsessed with materials, he presents here a selection of his innovative research focusing on wood.
