Yukihiro Yamagami is best known for his “canvas projections,” an original technique that combines drawing and film by overlapping detailed pencil-drawn landscapes and film footage of the same place on canvas. This exhibition displays more than 15 of Yamagami’s renowned canvas projections, from early in his twelve-year practice through his most recent works, as well as “road-movies” from recent years.
