Focusing on the area around his own home, Shinji Minami photographs the scenes and local activities of Wakayama City. Even in familiar places, there are many things he feels called to capture on camera when he changes his vantage point on them. Photographing familiar subjects means that he can reshoot them any time, but also leads to new discoveries. These works look at Wakayama City from an aerial perspective.
