Founded in 1872, the sweets company Taneya still operates in Omi Hachiman City. As a symbol of the sweets-making industry originating in Shiga Prefecture, Taneya remains committed to tradition while pursuing the new. This exhibition presents its package designs and achievements thus far, showcasing the history, culture, and local spirit of Omi Hachiman as the roots of Taneya.
