The Meiji era, the Taisho era and the Showa era: those were the times when Japan experienced great changes in construction, with new techniques arriving from the west. This exhibition reveals what technological innovations arose from this process and how this changed the architecture of Japan through valuable data discovered from architectural firms and other institutions.
