Max Papeschi, an international artist with a well-defined voice, presents works in a provocative and satirical style with a profound message about society. Presented last year in Kyoto, “La Société du Spectacle” comes to Tokyo for the first time. On display are works selected by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Osaka director Stephano Fossati that blend the bodies of global rulers and politicians with those of actors, actresses, and singers, vividly rebuking of the deceitfulness of those in power.
