This exhibition showcases Toshiyuki Nanjo’s recent works from the series entitled “Suns,” in which the artist captures with long exposure the sunlight reflected on the surface of the water. What we see in his work is either the surface of water that constantly changes shape, the traces of the sun reflected on the water, or the flowing time fixated through the photographing process. A naked human eye can never see such imagery and therefore the essence of human vision and the act of seeing are highlighted through photography.
