This event has ended.

The Impressionist master Claude Monet (1840-1926) settled in Giverny to pursue a beautiful life after his lifelong journey and made his paradise. He represented his thought in the real garden, with his understanding of the arrangement of plants and flower schemes. An idea of rooms with “Water Lilies” paintings all along the walls came to him so that people would feel as much comfort at the gallery as he did in the garden.
This exhibition reviews the works and era of Monet, showing twenty pictures including all eight pieces of the museum’s collection. The viewer can see a new harmony created by a fortuitous meeting of Monet’s work and the Japanese “paradise” in this memorial year 2016, the 20th anniversary of Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art.
