Korean born Han Byung Ha travels around Japan with his film camera whilst Hiroshi Fujii captures scenes with his analogue camera predominantly around the Kansai area. After first meeting in 2012, Han Byung Ha invited Fujii to visit Korea. The fresh experience of visiting foreign places is referred to here as “Outback,” where the two become more than holiday-makers or tourists, but observers of everyday things in the other’s country of origin.
