Tokunoshima, sometimes called “Bullfight Island,” is renowned for its strong bulls and the islanders’ dedication to them. On display are Tsunami Kuwashima’s photographs of Fukuda Kiwamichi I, the most successful and revered bull in the island’s 400-year history, in the largest prints Benrido has ever attempted – each measuring 12 x120 cm, to be 5m in total as an installation.
