Gionkaku is a tower built by architect Okura Kihachiro in the Higashiyama ward of Kyoto. Its unique architecture was inspired by the floats used at the famous Gion Festival. In this exhibition, Kazuo Iwasaki presents photographs that pay tribute to this fantastic structure.
