Presenting the outcomes of the fourth 10 day artist in residence program of Asuka Art Village in which artists in their 20s and 30s gathered in collaborative production while in dialogue with the people and environment of the local area. Focusing on “tradition” in current Asuka culture such as song and folklore, arts and festivals, a vital part of Asuka’s identity is here manifested in the works of these 3 artists.
