410 kilometers southwest of the Okinawan capital of Naha, the Kuroshio Current brings year-round warm weather to the Yaeyama Islands, nourishing their ocean, forests, rivers, and the many forms of life teeming within them. Takeshi Fukazawa’s photographs capture the connection between the current and life within nature.
