A reflection of the past 70 years of the photography department of Asahi Shimbun Publications, since its conception immediately after the war in December 1945. “Wagaya no Yumeshi” was a photography series that documented the mealtimes of various celebrity households for over 30 years and delighted viewers with the energy of its portraits.
The times are shaped by the people and these people live these times in earnest. This exhibition is another chance to experience the appeal of photography that has gained strength over time.
