Sajik Kim “Story”

” I have two clearly recognizable sets of memories. Memories of being brought up in the polytheistic and multicultural country of Japan. And memories inherited from my Korean ancestors that reside in my body and my DNA.”
Kim Sajik creates her own story, weaving these two memories together, in order to confirm her existence. “Omi” is a collaboration with Nobuatsu Katagiri, a master of the Misasagi School of traditional Japanese flower arrangement.
