Asako Tanaka’s first exhibition in two years coincides with the release of her first photo book, “♭”. Enlarged versions of photos appearing in the book are on attached to the walls, entirely doing away with visual elements that suggest these works are physical objects. This curated space creates a world like stepping into the pages of the book for the viewer. A launch party on September 10th (Saturday) will feature a talk by the independent curator and contributing editor Makiko Matake.
