This exhibition marks the 120th anniversary of the birth and simultaneously the 50th anniversary of the death, of writer and founder of the Surrealist movement, Andre Breton. Showcasing the prints, paintings, books and photographs that were presented in Andre Breton’s infamous manifesto of surrealist art, “Le Surrealisme et la Peinture” (“Surrealism and Painting” in English), this is a chance to experience the work of influential figures such as Picasso, Duchamp, Kahlo, Dali, Ernst, Masson, Gorky, Picabia, Miro, Magritte, Kandinsky, and Hantai.
