Miki Sato creates paintings by choosing images from movies or photos and layering drawings on top of the existing printed image. Sato adds stains, blurs, and distortions in this process of deconstruction and reconstruction of images, searching for a genuine reality that she feels is lacking in this modern society. This is her 5th solo exhibition at Yoshimi Arts.
