This event has ended.

Yoshihiro Kishimoto is interested not in theme, but in style or format, which he pursues through his representational paintings. However, his horizontally striped paintings include some natural elements such as landscapes or scenery. After shifting to vertical stripes, the reality of humans and trees became clear to him. He excludes images as much as possible, believing that the object must be beyond the formation of images. Or it must be a matrix of images, as in the existence of humans. Kishimoto hopes to depict this kind of existence in large scale, through the miracle of painting.
