Forty black and white photographs of Muneharu Hoshina hometown neighborhood of Bokuto, Tokyo on the east bank of the Sumida River, a place that has maintained its distinctive image for almost a century through the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, WWII fire bombings, and the 1964 Olympics. It is now undergoing drastic transformations ahead of the 2020 Olympics.
