Japan Linhof Club Exhibition “The World of the Large Format Camera”

The Japan Linhof Club consists of Linhof large format camera lovers. The Linhof is a large, heavy camera using silver halide film. While its use is steadily declining in the age of the digital camera, the Linhof takes highly realistic photographs of superior quality that bring out the special properties of silver halide film.
Though works so far have depicted radiant Japanese scenery under the theme “Japan’s Luminous Landscapes,” for this exhibition members take on a new approach with the concept “The World of the Large Format Camera,” which celebrates the breadth of information and expression of the silver halide film.
