Meiki Lin “Nature City: The Four Seasons in Tadami, Fukushima”

The city of Tadami in Fukushima Prefecture has promoted itself as a “city of nature” since 2007 and was designated as Japan’s sixth Unesco Eco Park in 2015, the first city in eastern or northern Japan to be given such an honor. Meiki Lin has been photographing natural landscapes in cities for nearly 15 years. His images presented here, taken with a mid-sized digital camera, capture Tadami’s forest of enormous Beech trees and snowy landscapes.
