Hirokazu Fukunishi “Cohered Moment”

A solo exhibition by fine art photographer, Hirokazu Fukunishi (b.1971). Fukunishi has given careful consideration to a problem of what seeing something is. By means of photography, he brings his ideas into focus at the moment we encounter beauty, the way we find it, and by extension what the act of seeing is.
He captures the objects, lighting them against dim backgrounds, as if he were scooping them out of everyday things with his hands. We can find in each of his photographs the essence of individual things extracted from what we have already gotten used to.
This exhibition is held simultaneously at Mozumimihara-no-Atelier (Sakai, Osaka).
