The works of Kouseki Ono include “shadows” in the flat print works and three-dimensional shapes in which “color pillars” are attached to animal bones through the techniques of printing. In this exhibition, presented are original print works, the 3D “Inducer” works, and a new experimental work combing cobwebs and screen prints. Kouseki Ono won the grand prize of VOCA (Vision of Contemporary Art)in 2015, for his revolutionary print works. After that, he won the grand prize of the 16th Okayama Arts and Culture Award in 2015, and the grand prize of 2nd PAT (Print Art Triennale) in Kyoto in 2016. Kouseki Ono has broadened the scope of his activities in recent years and is receiving greater recognition than ever before.
