Ikuta Nansui (1860–1934) was an artist active in Osaka in the late Modern period, and was very authoritative in literature, calligraphy and paintings, both Japanese and Chinese. This exhibition showcases his heart-warming haiga paintings – paintings accompanied with haiku poems.
