This event has ended.

This series reveals patterns, rhythms and paths which replace linear dimensions of time. Worldline means “trajectory through time and space”. These Kyoto scenes aren’t totally abstract however. Details of familiar reality can be seen if you look carefully at the large-scale prints. From an archive of thousands of photographs taken by the artist, images were edited for aesthetic qualities. Images of seemingly distorted crowds, however, are shown exactly as they were captured on the artist’s handmade camera.

* This exhibition is part of KG+, Kyotographie’s satellite event.
