Originally an assistant to Japanese photographer Masafumi Sanai, A-chan focuses on her own work as well as more commercial work such as CD jacket designs and magazine work.
“Salt ‘n Vinegar” is a collection of monochrome and color photographs that serves as a visual diary of A-chan’s time in New York from 2011 to 2013 that documents everyday street shots, items in a supermarket, and other scenes that tend to go unnoticed.
