Surrounded by nature, Kentaro Kawabata works from his kiln in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture. In the way that a plant buds, flowers, drops seeds and then dies, Kawabata produces earthenware through a similar process of circulation. His creations are an outcome of his own natural cycle, giving new life forms to earth and soil.
