This event has ended.

In the Edo era, the traditional Japanese sweet shop “Surugaya” took over the Kishu Tokugawa Family’s confectionery business. The history of Wakayama is told through a display of the much admired “Kashigata” wood hand carved molds that were used in the making of these Japanese sweets.
