Hyogo Mugyuda creates work focusing on the theme “artificial S.” The letter “s” contains a sense of plurality and also stands for “sense.” Through this the meaning of the title Artificial S becomes “manmade sensations.” Artificial S is comprised of seven chapters, and although each chapter has its own subheadings, expressed throughout all chapters is the sense of “life and death” merging into each other.
