The ‘Traditional Insects’ project produces exhibitions and artworks that look at how traditional arts and crafts can be incorporated into contemporary lifestyles. Students from the Nakano Design Lab at the Kyoto Institute of Technology look at traditional crafts from the perspective of design and produce pieces in collaboration with various artisans.
