This event has ended.

The photos exhibited here contain the clothes, shoes, and toys of a 4 year old boy. The only other thing depicted is the surrounding view of the apartment in which this child lived. Though long obsolete and to be discarded or given away, these items have been locked up and hidden away in the back of a cupboard for the past 11 years.
In the Spring of 2016, the mother who experienced the death of her child finally retrieved these items from the box one by one and through her camera managed to finally recognize the loss that she had endured while confronting the contradictory emotions of both wanting to resurrect her son and wanting to send him into heaven peacefully. These photographs express the ambivalent wishes of this mother and artist through these difficult times.
